Dr. Matthias Balázsi has been engaged with the Kodály Concept in both research and teaching for several decades. For many years, he served as President of the German Kodály Society. His research interests include the historical development of the Kodály Concept in Hungary, its international reception and adaptation, and the field of sight-singing. His doctoral dissertation examined aspects of the Kodály Concept in Hungary and the United States.

Through this blog, he hopes to contribute to the international Kodály research community.
